An ecological oasis where the peace, beauty and power of nature is felt and preserved. This Island was called Mantinicunk Island by the Lenni-Lenape who were the first and only ones to fish, trade and reside there, prior to the entry of the Europeans in 1624. After being renamed numerous times by various settlers, the island was given its current name – Burlington Island. It is located between Burlington City NJ and Bristol Borough PA.
