The Island Waters Institute is a 501(c)(3) not for profit currently organizing a collaborative of Eastern Woodland tribal communities and indigenous organizations for the purpose of creating, owning and operating recreational, educational, cultural and conservational venues on Mantinnicunk Island (Burlington Island NJ). The Island Waters Institute is not a tribal community or indigenous organization, and thus will not be a member of the collaborative.
